A 1954 Les Paul has arrived at Hiscole!
Built in 2011, this guitar recreates the 1954 model—which was released in 1952 and underwent a minor redesign the following year to feature the combination of P-90 pickups and a wrap-around tailpiece.

The bar bridge and wrap-around tailpiece, mounted directly to the body via studs, are said to maximize sustain and produce a distinctive sound character, continuing to be favored by discerning enthusiasts.

Equipped with P-90 pickups that combine the delicacy of single-coil pickups with the robust thickness of humbuckers, the powerful sound created in synergy with the bar bridge makes a strong impression whether playing clean or distorted tones, resulting in a truly unique sound.
Overall, there are numerous signs of use, including scratches, dents, paint cracks, and wear. The metal parts show tarnish and rust, and there is a crack in the jack plate. The frets and nut have been replaced; over 70% of the frets remain, the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is fully adjustable.
