A custom model commissioned in a limited run of 50 pieces to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Shinshodo ROCK INN.
Greco’s original GO series was released for a very short period from around 1978 to 1981.

This particular guitar was custom-ordered in 1979 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of ROCK INN (now Yamano Music) during its Shinseido era, and was released as a limited edition of 50 units prior to the official launch of the GO III series in 1980.

Since it was produced during a transitional period, there appear to have been different variations; however, on this particular instrument, the engraving on the truss rod cover reads “Speed Way” instead of “ROCK INN.”
Although there were two types—with and without a master volume control—this particular model does not have a master volume control.

It incorporates a mix of specifications from the later-released GO III 1500 and GO III 1300 models, featuring brown pickup covers with escutcheons, two PU-3D humbuckers, and one PU-200 single-coil pickup from the GO II series.

It features a brass nut and oval fingerboard inlays, a 5-piece maple/mahogany through-neck construction, and no metal rivets around the rotary switch.

The arched top, body edges, cutaway, neck heel, and volute are all shaped with exceptional smoothness through advanced woodworking techniques, resulting in an outstanding fit.

With independent volume and tone controls for each pickup and a 6-way rotary pickup selector, this guitar not only boasts a striking appearance but also allows you to enjoy a wide variety of sounds.
The strap pin at the body end has been replaced multiple times, and there are scattered traces of filled holes in the surrounding area.
Numerous scratches and dents of varying sizes are scattered across the body, and the hardware shows signs of tarnish.
The truss rod cap and the strap pin at the body end have been replaced, and the tremolo arm is missing.
Due to neck twist, the 1st string side is bowing outward; as a result of fret leveling, there is very little material remaining on the high-fret side, but there are currently no issues with muting or buzzing, and it does not interfere with playability.
