Tube Screamerの原点として1979年に登場した、Ibanezを代表するヴィンテージオーバードライブです。
Rマーク期、MP-D01201B基板とRC4558P MALAYSIAを搭載した個体です。コンデンサーデイトは1980年で整合性も高く、ワッシャー無しのDCジャック仕様を採用しています。滑らかで温かみのあるドライブサウンドと豊かなミッドレンジは現在も高く評価されており、数多くのブルースギタリストを魅了し続ける聖杯的存在として知られる名機です。
年代相応の使用感はございますが、動作に問題はございません。フットスイッチは交換されております。外装にはキズや塗装剥がれ、ケースに小さなクラック、金属パーツのくすみが見られます。定番の症状ではございますが、バッテリーボックスの蓋に緩みが見られ、閉まりにくい場合がございます。固定の際には若干コツを要しますが、現状は固定可能です。ヴィンテージモデルとして良好なコンディションを維持しています。

Introduced in 1979 as the original Tube Screamer, this is Ibanez’s iconic vintage overdrive pedal.
This unit is from the “R Mark” era and features the MP-D01201B circuit board and an RC4558P MALAYSIA tube. The capacitor date is 1980, making it highly authentic, and it features a DC jack without a washer. Its smooth, warm overdrive sound and rich midrange are still highly regarded today, and it is known as a legendary “Holy Grail” pedal that continues to captivate countless blues guitarists.
While it shows signs of wear commensurate with its age, it functions perfectly. The footswitch has been replaced. The exterior shows scratches and paint peeling, the case has a small crack, and the metal parts have some tarnish. As is common with these models, the battery compartment lid is slightly loose and may be difficult to close. It takes a bit of a knack to secure it properly, but it can be closed as is. Overall, it remains in good condition for a vintage model.
