A limited-edition model created for Sound Messe 2026 has arrived in our used inventory!
This special model was crafted for the 2026 edition of “Sound Messe,” a guitar event held in Osaka. It is a limited-edition “With a Difference” J.Custom model, built in extremely limited quantities for each specific concept.

Crafted in a workshop separate from the one where standard J-Customs are made, this special model utilizes exceptionally high-grade wood, and the instrument itself clearly showcases the pinnacle of craftsmanship in its finish.

The body features a deep quilted grain top with striking variations in shade, reminiscent of waves in the deep sea, paired with a two-piece Honduran mahogany back. The back panel and control panel are also crafted from Honduran mahogany.
Unlike standard J-Custom models, the binding on the top is approximately 2 mm wide, set back from the body edge, creating an unparalleled sense of luxury.

The five-piece neck, crafted from quarter-sawn maple and bubinga, features a jet-black ebony fingerboard, and the luster of the abalone “Tree of Life” inlay is truly magnificent.
The silk-touch neck grip, combined with the smooth chamfering of the fingerboard edges and the spherical shaping of the fret edges, enables smooth fingering and position shifts.
The precision of these finishes is exceptionally high, delivering a playing experience entirely distinct from the standard J-Custom line.

All pickups are DiMarzio, featuring what could be called a classic combination: Air Norton, True Velvet, and The Tone Zone.

The bridge features the Lo-Pro Edge design, which separates the bridge saddles from the fine tuners to reduce playing stress and prevent interference with the fine tuners.

Since this instrument shows virtually no signs of use, it is a true gem that you’ll want to add to your collection.
It shows minimal signs of use—just a few fine scratches—and is in excellent condition.
It has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and its playability is excellent.
