最初期のプリアンプペダルとして知られる1970年代製Color Sound Overdriver
COLOR SOUND OVERDRIVERは、1970年代の英国を代表する名機です。後年のクリーンブースターやオーバードライブの先駆けともいえる存在で、最初期のプリアンプペダルのひとつとして現在も高い評価を受けています。高いヘッドルームと豊富な出力レベルを備え、アンプ本来のキャラクターを活かしながらサウンドに厚みと存在感を付加。クリーンブーストからダイナミックなオーバードライブまで幅広い表現が可能です。その独自のサウンドは後年の数多くのブースターやオーバードライブにも影響を与えたとされており、ヴィンテージエフェクター史において重要な位置を占めるモデルとして知られています。本機は1970年代に製造された個体です。
外装にはキズや擦れ、塗装の傷みなど年代相応の使用感が見られますが、動作に問題はございません。バッテリースナップは交換されております。筐体内部には製造年を示すスタンプが確認できますが、錆の影響により判読できません。

The COLOR SOUND OVERDRIVER is an iconic British pedal from the 1970s. Considered a pioneer of the clean booster and overdrive pedals that followed, it remains highly regarded today as one of the very first preamp pedals. With its high headroom and ample output, it adds depth and presence to the sound while preserving the amp’s natural character.It offers a wide range of expression, from clean boost to dynamic overdrive. Its unique sound is said to have influenced numerous boosters and overdrives that followed, and it is recognized as a model that holds an important place in the history of vintage effects pedals. This unit was manufactured in the 1970s.
The exterior shows signs of wear appropriate for its age, such as scratches, scuffs, and paint deterioration, but it functions perfectly. The battery snap has been replaced. A stamp indicating the year of manufacture can be seen inside the chassis, but it is illegible due to rust.
Condition Grade: B: Shows significant scratches and signs of use, but functions perfectly for normal use
