USED Fender Japan / Precision Bass PB57-55, 1984, Black [12]

A 1984 Fender Japan PB57-55 has arrived.
This is an entry-level Fender Precision Bass model designed with vintage specifications in mind; based on the neck date, we have determined it was manufactured in 1984.

It features a basswood body with characteristics similar to alder and a one-piece maple neck with 20 frets.
It features a thick neck with a secure grip and split-coil PB pickups, delivering a robust and punchy Precision Bass sound.
There is significant paint peeling on the body end near the elbow contour, and there are several areas of paint peeling along the edge of the fingerboard.
Overall, there are numerous scattered scratches and dents, and the hardware shows some tarnish.
It shows signs of use, and the tone knob has been replaced; however, it has been fully maintained and cleaned by our repair center, and playability is excellent.
