Yamaha's L Series, renowned worldwide as the pinnacle of acoustic guitars.
Even after 40 years since its release, the "L" continues to be cherished by countless artists as a legendary instrument... Its enduring value lies in consistently delivering the sound and playability demanded by each era at the highest level.
It ushered in an era for acoustic guitars in Japan, evolving with the times, and consistently responding to the player's vision.
That is the L Series.

Featuring a medium jumbo body and all-solid construction, it employs Engelmann spruce for the top and rosewood for the sides and back.
The top wood undergoes the proprietary "A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) treatment," previously reserved for higher-end L Series models like the LL26 and LL36. This treatment delivers a rich, well-played-in sound!
The bracing remains the traditional non-scalloped X-bracing, but this renewal lowers the bracing and changes its shape to square.
This ensures the X-brace's intersection point fits perfectly!
The NECK has been changed from the previous 3-piece construction to a 5-piece structure of mahogany and rosewood, achieving greater strength against warping and twisting!
Additionally, the neck is shaped to be 1mm thinner at the 10th fret, improving playability in the higher positions!
Furthermore, the fretboard edges are rounded for a smooth, comfortable playing feel that fits the hand!
The new model also features modified string height and string spacing. The 6th string is slightly lower, the 1st string slightly higher, and the string spacing is widened by 0.3mm.
This NEW model features a "passive pickup," allowing direct connection to an amplifier. (Cable sold separately)
The pickup uses the same piezo element as the SRT found in electro-acoustic models like the APX and CPX. It offers excellent response and ample output!
A "double-action truss rod" has been incorporated, which was not included in the initial L series models. This design allows adjustment for both neck bow and tailpiece bow.
