The RE-201 is an echo machine introduced in the early 1970s as part of Roland's RE Series lineup.
As the name "Space Echo" suggests, it is a tape echo machine with a deep and distinctive sound.
It is still used by many people today, and its appeal lies in the deep, warm, fat sound and reverberation that only an analog tape echo can provide, a sound and appeal that cannot be obtained with digital effects or any other type of tape echo.

* After arrival at our store, the instrument has been disassembled, cleaned, POT/switch contacts cleaned, jacks polished, and tapes replaced.

(There is a little rust on metal fittings and parts, and there are scratches and other signs of use appropriate to the age of the instrument.
