Featuring a basswood body, a maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard, it is equipped with Fender’s original Japanese-made pickups.
While keeping costs down, it retains the solid build quality typical of Japanese-made instruments, offering excellent sound and playability.

There are cracks and peeling in the finish on the sides of the body.
