PREMIUM" 6-string bass with walnut & panga-panga top and African mahogany body
-Walnut and Pangapanga wood on African mahogany body and back, Walnut wood on the wings and Pangapanga wood and Maple wood on the center.

This material choice was made to achieve both the rich mid-low range characteristics essential for bass sound and the hard wood's attack and crisp high range characteristics.
The woody finish is achieved with a matte flat coating that allows the player to feel the texture of the wood on the skin.

The Nordstrand "Big Single" pickups are designed to deliver a powerful and aggressive sound with the clarity of a single-coil pickup.
- Active 3-band EQ with 3-pattern mid-band frequency switch & EQ bypass switch
Equalizer produces wide-range & low-noise active sound. (powered by 006P alkaline batteries)
The mid-range frequency band, which is the key to the bass sound, can be switched between 250Hz, 450Hz, and 700Hz by toggling the switch.
The EQ bypass switch can also be used as a passive bass (when bypassed: Treble, Treble, Treble, Treble, and Treble). (When bypassed, the Treble knob controls the tone.)
- Punga Punga fingerboard with hardwoods that add a clear core to the sound image.
- Premium Fret Edge Treatment
The fret edges are spherically treated to reduce the resistance of the fret edges against the fingers during fingering, providing a higher level of playing comfort.
- MR5S (monorail) bridge with inter-string pitch adjustment mechanism
Each string is independent of the other, so the vibration of the strings is transmitted directly to the body.
The saddle is movable by ±1.5mm in the left/right direction, allowing the pitch between strings to be set freely within a fixed range.
- Gotoh machine heads are known for their high precision, smoothness, and tuning stability.
