This is a noise gate effector that naturally eliminates excess noise that enters between performances.
When the volume of the sound exceeds the setting, the gate opens and the sound is output as it is, and when the volume falls below the setting, the gate gradually closes and the sound naturally becomes clean and silent.

There are three controls.
Sense" sets the volume at which the gate opens and closes. Turning it to the left will make it react more strongly to loud noises.
Release controls how long it takes for the gate to close. Turning it to the right increases the time until the gate closes and becomes silent.
Fader" controls the volume when the gate is open. Turning it to the right increases the volume, and at about 2 o'clock the volume is about the same as the original sound. It can also be used as an attenuator by connecting it to the send return of the amplifier. It can also be used as a light booster.

The brightness of the indicator LED can be adjusted by operating the trimmer pot on the internal board.

This is a noise gate pedal that aims to be applied in a natural way.
If you expect a slicer-like "snap" effect, it would be better to use a slicer, so we decided that a noise gate should have a natural application.

I think the Sense knob is supposed to be turned to the left for a stronger effect, but I couldn't make the effect stronger by turning the knob to the right, so I decided to turn it to the left.

When I compared it to some existing noise gate products, I found that some existing products had a slight drop in volume when activated, so I added a Fader knob to solve that problem. As for why Fader instead of Level or volume, I settled on Fader because I don't want to lower the volume, but I can't raise it that much, and I have a wide range of controls to lower it.

My recommendation is to connect it right after the noise source. If it's a noise that disappears when the guitar volume is turned down, then right near the guitar. Noise emitted from a guitar is often amplified by distortion systems and becomes loud, so it is better to turn off the noise before it is amplified while it is still small, so that it has less effect on other things.
Well, some people say it is better to connect the guitar after it is amplified by the distortion system, so I think it is totally up to your preference where to connect it.
