Roasted Birdseye Maple fretboard
Roasted bird's-eye maple fretboard is made of bird's-eye maple, which has a unique pattern that looks like a bird's eye.
The heat treatment process removes excess moisture and oil from the wood, increasing its strength.
Q58" H-H pickups
HH arrangement of "Q58" humbucker pickups developed for "Q".
The pickups are designed so that the full range of frequencies can be heard in good balance, making it easy to create a sound with effects pedals and other devices.
The low frequency range is powerful without being muddy, and the high frequency range is clear yet mellow.
It is also low noise and works well with both digital and analog effectors.
dyna-MIX10 switching system with Alter Switch
The dyna-MIX10 can be switched between humbucker mode and single coil mode with the touch of a mini-switch, giving you 10 different sound variations.
In power-tap mode, one coil is tapped and the other coil is specially wired to bring out the low frequency range of the other coil, resulting in clear highs and a thicker, more clearly defined sound than can be obtained with a simple tap.
This is a switching system for the modern guitar player who has to play multiple roles with limited equipment.
