American Vintage II is a series of highly accurate reproductions of the revolutionary electric guitars and basses that changed the course of music history. With body shapes, necks, and hardware configurations that faithfully reflect the specifications of the era, premium finishes, and pickups voiced and detailed according to the era, these guitars capture the essence of authentic Fender craftsmanship and tone.
Introduced in 1972 as the top model in the Telecaster family, the Telecaster Deluxe was Fender's first solidbody guitar to feature two humbuckers, The American Vintage II 1975 Telecaster Deluxe features the same specs as the original, including a Stratocaster-style large head, comfortable back cut, Wide Range humbuckers mounted on the pickguard, dual volume and tone controls, and a three-way toggle switch located on the upper horn. The Wide Range humbuckers are equipped with CuNiFe magnets, which were discontinued in 1981, and have been brought back to life to recreate the original sound.
The American Vintage II 1975 Telecaster Deluxe features a 1975 "C" shaped maple neck and a 9.5" radius maple fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets, which is like a throwback to 1975 and the playability of the It is reminiscent of the playability of the instrument back in 1975. This model features a convenient Bullet-style truss rod nut located on the head, a 3-bolt neck plate with Micro-Tilt(TM), a 6-saddle hardtail bridge, stainless steel block saddles, and a Tele Deluxe Tuning machines are included. The alder body is available in Black, Mocha Brown, and 3-Color Sunburst.
