The "GENESIS COLLECTION" is a made in Japan guitar series that traces the history from its creation to the present.
Ultra-thin "Super Wizard" shaped neck designed for ease of playability and thinness.
5pcs construction with 3-piece maple and 2-piece walnut laminate for rigidity.
This shape is ideal for players who prefer the lightest possible grip and is the reason why Ibanez pioneered the thin neck.
Maple Fingerboard
The fretboard is made of maple wood, which is characterized by its bright and clear sound.
Tilted Neck Joint with Die-cast Plate
Ibanez original V7, V8 humbucker pickups & S1 single coil pickup
The V7/V8 humbucker pickups were widely used in the late 90's when loud music was at its peak.
The front pickups (V7) are designed for powerful midrange and high frequency dropout, and the rear pickups (V8) are designed for low-frequency power.
The single-coil pickup is the S1, designed for use with the V7/V8.
Ibanez "Edge" tremolo with smooth operation and sparkling sound
This double-locking tremolo boasts a natural feel, wide operating range, and high tuning accuracy, and is favored by many artists.
Equipped with Gotoh machine heads for high precision and smooth tuning.
