More than 35 years have passed since its debut, and it continues to evolve while inheriting the appearance of its debut, becoming a favorite instrument of many guitarists.
The RG6 is a "new standard of RG" for today's and the next generation of guitarists, while maintaining the Ibanez style that has been emanating from the RG. This is the concept behind the Ibanez J-LINE series "RG6 HSHMTR".

This tremolo model is indispensable for rock guitarists who pursue technique.
The design, which lacks even position marks when viewed from the front, may not appeal to everyone, but for players who "can play" and who are determined to "learn to play," it is an essential part of their identity. However, for players who "can play" and who are determined to "learn to play," the cleanness of the design can be a part of their identity.
The Edge tremolo bridge, which has been used by many legendary guitarists, Gotoh hardware, and luminescent inlays on the side of the fingerboard are just a few of the features and specifications that make this guitar a perfect stage gear.

Following the WHF (white flat) color model of the debut model, a fresh "BGY (blue gray)" color model has been added.
