Gotoh T1802 tremolo bridge
The Gotoh T1802 tremolo bridge is a new version of the Gotoh 510 bridge, which has been acclaimed by many players and guitar brands as the definitive tremolo bridge, through a collaboration between Ibanez and Gotoh.
It features a hard-cut titanium saddle and a cut steel inertia block for both a solid and fat sound with a good sound startup, as well as an extended high frequency range.
The 10.5mm narrow spacing between strings is designed for ease of picking across the strings, which is required by players who frequently use skipping and hybrid picking.

dyna-MIX 10 switching system w/Alter switch
The dyna-MIX 10 switching system w/Alter switch allows you to freely switch between humbucker and single coil modes with a single mini-switch, providing a wide range of sound variations.
This switching system is ideal for the modern guitar player who has to play multiple roles with limited equipment.

* Alter switch
HH model...Switches to Power Tap mode for a realistic single coil sound.
One coil is tapped and the other coil is specially wired to bring out the low end of the other coil, resulting in clear highs and a thicker, more defined sound than can be achieved with a simple tap.

Seymour Duncan Hyperion Pickups
We obtained dozens of pickups and measured the frequency response of all of them.
We then determined the specifications and sound image of the pickups that we thought were best suited for AZ, and created these AZ-specific pickups in collaboration with Seymour Duncan, a pickup brand that has a long history and continues to make new efforts. This is a pickup for AZ.
The output is kept low so that even when distorted, the cleanness of the original sound remains, and the design focuses on the tracking and reproducibility of picking.
From treble to bass and from the first to sixth strings, the total balance of the sound is important, and we also pursued a good ride of effects.
Alnico-5 magnets are used for all magnets.

S-TECH WOOD Roasted Maple Fretboard
This 305mmR fretboard was arrived at through a process of trial and error by incorporating several issues such as the combination with the neck into several prototypes, with the key point being that even when choking with a large touch width, the sound does not get stuck and the fingers and hands do not feel stress even when working on chords.

AZ Oval C S-TECH WOOD Roasted Maple neck
The fingerboard and neck are made of estec-treated maple.
Estec treatment is a nitrogen heat treatment technique developed in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, and is the first of its kind in the world to be used for guitars.
Estec wood is patented in Japan for its shape stability, durability against warping, water resistance, and resistance to temperature changes.
The neck thickness is 20.5*22.5 (at 1F*12F), which we have concluded is the best after many prototypes and verifications.
The neck is finished with an oil finish that gives the neck the look and feel of a well played guitar neck.

An ergonomic body back contour
The original body shape was designed for a contemporary look.
The thin body contour and large elbow contour create a sense of unity between the player and the guitar and contribute greatly to improved playability.
The deep neck of the body also makes the guitar easy to hold and handle on stage, and provides high playability. The ergonomic design of the body has different corner radii on the front and back surfaces, so that the player can feel a good fit the moment he or she holds the guitar, regardless of whether he or she is seated or standing.

Gotoh Magnum Lock machine heads w/H.A.P.(Height Adjustable Post)
The Magnum Lock machine heads made by GOTOH, which are known for their tuning stability, are used.
The H.A.P. (Height Adjustable Post) mechanism allows the height of the post to be adjusted to provide the proper tension for each string.

Luminlay side dot inlay
The 3.0mm-diameter luminous side dot inlay provides high visibility in a rapidly changing playing environment.
You will never lose sight of the notes you want to play, even on a dark stage.

Super All Access Neck Joint
The "Super All Access" neck joint is carved at a height difference of 8mm from the back of the body, and the joint with the neck is finished with a spherical surface for high playability.
The cutaway on the bass string side is designed to be shallow to maximize the area between the body and the neck, which allows for both high playability and good sustain and resonance.
