RG j.custom Super Wizard 5-Piece Maple/Wenge Neck
This neck is crafted from a 5-piece combination of maple and wenge, designed to prioritize natural sound while ensuring sufficient strength.
It features the ultra-thin Super Wizard shape, designed for ease of playability and thinness, making it ideal for players who prefer an extremely lightweight feel.
The neck back features a “Velvetouch” finish that feels as comfortable in your hands as a guitar that’s been played for years.

Makassar Ebony Fingerboard
This special fingerboard features Makassar ebony—known for its hardness, excellent responsiveness, and distinctive vertical grain—and showcases the “Tree of Life” position inlays, one of the hallmarks of j.custom design.

j.custom Fret Edge Treatment
This is a custom treatment that rounds the fret edges to a spherical shape.
Not only does shaping the edges into a spherical curve require skill, but ensuring uniformity in shape does as well. This process, which only skilled craftsmen can perform, is carried out meticulously by hand, one guitar at a time.
You’ll surely feel the smooth, stress-free sensation when shifting your left hand across the fretboard.

Flame Maple (4mm) Top & African Mahogany Body
The African mahogany body, which offers rich mid-low frequency characteristics, is topped with AAA-grade flamed maple featuring a beautiful grain pattern.

DiMarzio Pickups
The neck position features the Air Norton, known for its clear and warm sound; the middle position features the True Velvet, known for its bright and noise-free sound; and the bridge position features The ToneZone, known for its powerful sound with well-balanced output across the high and low registers.

Lo-Pro Edge Tremolo Bridge
Equipped with the Lo-Pro Edge, an original tremolo system that takes low-profile design to the extreme.
By positioning the unit as low as possible and placing the fine tuners toward the rear, the design minimizes the risk of your hand accidentally knocking against them and throwing the tuning off during play.

Tilted Jack Cavity
Unlike standard side-jack guitars, the woodwork around the jack where the shielded cable plug is inserted is carved inward toward the body from the strap pin.
This design prevents the cable from accidentally falling out by routing it through the strap.

Equipped with a GOTOH strap lock that can be attached and removed with a single touch.

Easy Access Control Knobs
The control knobs are recessed into the body top and positioned at a height that minimizes interference with the hand during arm-bending while still allowing for easy turning.
