★Ibanez ARTIST Series “AR” 2026 New Model!
Introducing the new AR model, featuring striking “Tree of Life” inlays that evoke a classic atmosphere.

~Introduction~
The “AR (ARTIST)” model has a long history among Ibanez guitars and has left behind numerous legends.
It features an arched-top double-cutaway body, a set-in neck, two escutcheon-mounted humbuckers, and distinctive hardware.
Based on this fundamental design, the AR series carries on the Ibanez tradition and continues to enjoy immense popularity among guitar fans worldwide to this day.
In 2026, we will introduce a new model that reinterprets the AR.
Designed for the thriving Soul/Jazz scene, this stage guitar blends classic and modern elements.

~Features~
Flame maple body top / Okoumé body
The body top features flame maple with a beautiful grain pattern.
For the body, we’ve selected Okoumé wood, which is characterized by a rich, warm low-midrange sound similar to mahogany.
Multi-binding around the outer edge of the body top, combined with a low-gloss finish applied to the entire body, preserves the natural texture of the wood while creating a sense of luxury and a classic aesthetic.

Ebony Fingerboard
We’ve used ebony, which is known for its excellent attack and bright tone.

Super 80 Metal-Covered Humbucking Pickup
These pickups were originally introduced by Ibanez in the 1970s as part of their artist models and have earned a solid reputation among many professional musicians.
These ceramic magnet pickups feature a “Flying Finger” design engraved on the metal cover and are known for their bright, clear tone.
It also features two mini-switches, known as “Tri-Sound Switches,” which allow you to switch between “series ⇔ coil tap ⇔ parallel” wiring for the neck and bridge pickups, respectively.

Gibraltar Performer Bridge
This zinc bridge features a design where the front-to-back adjustment screws for the saddles are located on the tailpiece side.
The design, which allows a screwdriver to be inserted from the tailpiece side, makes it easier to adjust the saddle fore-and-aft.

Quik Change Classic Tailpiece
This tailpiece features a distinctive ornament—an iconic AR design element.
A slit in the top allows for quick and easy string changes.

Sure Grip III Knobs
The numbered knobs feature a rubber grip on top to prevent slipping, combining ease of control with high visibility.
