“RG j.custom Super Wizard AS” Asymmetrical Neck Shape, 5-Piece Maple/Wenge Neck
This neck is crafted from a 5-piece combination of maple and wenge, designed to prioritize a natural sound while ensuring sufficient strength.
This asymmetric neck shape is based on the ultra-thin SuperWizard profile, designed for playability and slimness.
While maintaining a neck thickness of 17mm at the nut and 19mm at the 12th fret, the neck is rounded toward the bass strings (6th string side). This provides a more secure fulcrum for the thumb and enhances playability for technical techniques such as wide stretches and sweep picking, which require a wide left-hand span.
The neck back features a “Velvetouch” finish that feels as comfortable in your hand as a guitar that’s been played for years.

Rosewood Fingerboard
The fingerboard is crafted from rosewood, which is characterized by a balanced sound and a warm tone.
The inlay design is inspired by the “Tree of Life” planted in the center of the Garden of Eden, as described in the Old Testament.
This is one of the features that allows you to fully appreciate the exquisite beauty unique to instruments made in Japan.

Flame Maple (4mm) Top & Alder Body
We’ve laminated AAA-grade flame maple—known for its beautiful grain pattern—onto an alder body, which is characterized by a balanced, bright tone and rich sustain.

Deep and beveled lower horn, scoop, and body back
The cutaway on the body back near the treble strings (1st string side) is deeply scooped to enhance playability in the higher positions.

Chambered Body
“I want to make it as light as possible without compromising the wood’s acoustic properties…” To meet the requests of players who think this way, even if only slightly, we’ve drilled several holes about 3 cm in diameter into the front of the body.
Although the reduction is minimal, this design does indeed contribute to a lighter weight.

DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary / True Velvet / The Tone Zone Pickups
In pursuit of a natural tone, the neck position features the PAF 36th Anniversary, known for its low output and warm, sweet tone; the middle position features the True Velvet, known for its bright and noise-free sound; and the bridge position features the covered The Tone Zone, known for its powerful sound with well-balanced output across the high and low frequencies.
