This model features an S-S-H pickup configuration—a rarity for RG models—and a sunburst finish that beautifully highlights the wood grain.

The versatile S-S-H pickup layout is equipped with DiMarzio Black Velvet pickups. With a high-output character that delivers crisp highs and tight lows, combined with the mini-switch for humbucker coil tapping, this guitar offers a wide range of sound-shaping possibilities.

With a flame-maple top, African mahogany body, and a MacArthur ebony fingerboard featuring a gorgeous “Tree of Life” inlay, this RG is truly worthy of the top tier.

All Access Neck Joint
The connection between the neck heel and the body is shaped as smoothly as possible to create a seamless, continuous curve. This is a j.custom-exclusive design that pursues ultimate playability in the higher frets.
Tilted Jack Cavity
Unlike standard side-jack guitars, the woodwork around the jack—where the shielded cable plug is inserted—is carved inward toward the body from the strap pin side. This design prevents the cable from accidentally falling out by allowing it to be routed through the strap.
Custom Treated Fret Edge
This is a custom treatment that rounds the fret edges to a spherical shape.
Not only does shaping the edges into a spherical form require skill, but ensuring uniformity in shape does as well. This process, which only skilled craftsmen can perform, is carried out meticulously by hand, one guitar at a time.

Tree of Life Inlay
This inlay design was inspired by the “Tree of Life” mentioned in the Old Testament, which was planted in the center of the Garden of Eden.
