USED Vestax / BV-V [4.45 kg] Vestax Made in Japan Active 5-String Bass [08]

An active-circuit-equipped, Made in Japan electric bass from Vestax, a well-known manufacturer of DJ equipment—now discontinued.

This is the Vestax BV-V, an active 5-string bass.

It features a two-piece walnut body with a set-neck maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard, and a Schaller roller bridge that allows for through-body wiring on the 5th and 4th strings. It is equipped with Vestax original JJ pickups, as well as volume, balance, and 2-band EQ controls.

Vestax is known for being a favorite among professional bassists and guitarists, and this is a highly refined instrument.

There are signs of use (scratches, wipe marks, picking marks, tarnish and wear on metal parts, etc.).

Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both tightening and loosening directions; operation has been confirmed up to ±60°.
