USED Fender Custom Shop / 1961 Precision Bass Relic Aged Sherwood Green [11]

A faithful reproduction of the innovative style and simplicity of the 1961 Precision Bass.
This attractive piece is available in Aged Sherwood Green color. The body is made of select alder wood and re-lacquered with nitrocellulose lacquer, giving it both a vintage look and natural wood tone. The neck is quarter-sawn maple with a '60s Oval C shape for a slim, comfortable grip in the hand and smooth playability. The fingerboard is made of AAA grade rosewood and is a perfect balance of approximately 9mm thick and 9.5" radius for enhanced fret response and feel comfort.
The Hand-Wound '62 P-Bass type pickups on this guitar faithfully reproduce the classic Precision sound, combining powerful lows and articulate mids. The bridge is a vintage-style 4-saddle, providing stable tuning and playing feel. The pickguard is a 4-ply brown shell or tortoiseshell pattern, which combined with the re-lake finish creates a deep vintage look.
The texture of the re-lake finish, the feel of the rosewood fingerboard, and the rich tone of the pickups make this a versatile instrument for both stage and recording.
The guitar is in very good pre-owned condition, with no new signs of use, although there are some scratches from the original relic process.
The neck is in good playing condition with no noticeable abnormalities.
