USED LARRIVEE / D-10 [11]

The D-10 is Larrivee's top-of-the-line model, built during the company's Vancouver, Canada factory days.
This acoustic guitar is positioned as one of the company's deluxe series, and has an attractive appearance with a strong presence and a highly finished sound.
The top is made of spruce and the sides and back are made of rosewood. The guitar has a rich dreadnought-like bass and a well-balanced, well-defined mid-high range. The tone is thick on strokes, and three-dimensional and well-separated on fingerstyle.
The head is decorated with the well-known Griffon logo in Avalon, and the top circumference and rosette also feature Avalon decoration. The finish is not only practical, but also has the gorgeousness of the Deluxe Series.
The label inside the instrument is marked CANADA / Vancouver, and although the serial number cannot be confirmed, it is assumed that the instrument was made in Canada in the late 1990s or early 2000s, judging from the specifications and the notation. This is a Larrivee-like instrument with a sound that is different from today's USA-made instruments.
The truss rod wrench size is 3/16". An endpin jack integrated pickup is installed. There are no controls and it is assumed that they were retrofitted.
The back bracing was peeled off and has been glued back on by a professional contractor.
Also, there was a paint crack on the side of the neck, which was corrected by the same specialist. The crack marks are still visible.
The nut has been replaced.
There is a peeling of clear paint on the upper right side of the body top. There is a mark on the back of the body that appears to be a signature, and the paint is cloudy as a result of an attempt to remove it. There is a small chip on the back side of the head tip.
There are some other scratches and dings.
There is no noticeable abnormality on the neck, and there are no problems with the playing condition.
