The 2025 Murphy Lab 1959 Les Paul Standard is now in stock.
Finished in "Ultra Light Aged", the lightest level of aging, with only weather checks.
Based on the revived "Historic Collection".
The parts are True Historic grade, and the look has been further evolved with a cleaner head logo and darker fingerboard inlays for a more realistic look.

The selector switch has a special shiny plate commemorating the 60th anniversary, giving it a premium look.

The fine and well-proportioned pinstripe top is finished in an impressive Kindred Burst color.

The Custombucker Alnico III (unpotted) pickups, which have been a staple of recent reissue models, are mounted, and the potting on the cover of the Custombucker has been eliminated to give the pickups edge and range. The unending challenge of pursuing a vintage tone shows Gibson's extraordinary spirit.

The pots have been changed to a more vintage-like curve, and Luxe Bumble Bee capacitors have been used.
The wiring has been recreated to the fullest extent of a vintage Les Paul, including Luxe Bumblebee capacitors and pots with vintage curves.
The guitar has been treated with an ultra light aged finish, but there is almost no damage from use and it is in excellent condition. The strings have been replaced and cleaned, and of course the playability is excellent.
