Boden Standard NX

The Boden Standard NX was developed to offer most of the premium features found on models such as the Original, Prog, and Fusion, but with a solid American basswood body, flame maple veneers, and our own specially designed pickups The result is a guitar that is both a true masterpiece and a masterpiece in its own right. The result is a line of guitars that offer all of the distinctive features and key functions of Boden guitars and are an excellent value for the working musician. All Standard models feature quarter-sawn maple necks and fingerboards with EndurNeck profiles, Luminlay(TM) faces and side dots, Jescar stainless steel frets, and, like all NX model guitars, innovative .strandberg* EGS Rev 7 hardware.

The basswood and maple neck/fretboard combination is one of the most popular electric guitar wood combinations used by many top guitar makers and artists, producing an ideal balance of warmth, power, brilliance, and sustain that is excellent for nearly every musical genre and playing style. It produces a very balanced sound that is excellent for almost any musical genre or style of playing. Our pickups are custom designed and wound to our specifications to bring out the best acoustic properties of the wood and hardware, resulting in a very balanced and rich sound through any amplification system.

Boden Standard NX models do not require high-end features such as a chambered body, 4-A grade figured top/fretboard, or name brand pickups, but offer the same premium look, sound, and performance required and long term value, This is for players who want the same premium look, sound, and features. Like our Classic NX models, the solid body construction offers a different type of feel and sound than a chambered body guitar, but retains the .strandberg* trademark clarity, articulation, sustain, and warmth for which our guitars are known The warm, organic tonal characteristics for which our guitars are known are still present.
