DGT(David Grissom Trem)は、ポール・リード・スミスとデイヴィッド・グッリソムの20年以上に渡るコラボレーションの結晶ともいえるモデルです。本モデルには、McCartyをベースにしつつオリジナルのネック・シェイプと少し高めのフレットを採用し、専用にチューニングされたピックアップを搭載。このヴィンテージ・サウンドを生み出すDGTハムバッカー・ピックアップは、ポールとデイヴィッドが膨大な時間を費やし、40セット以上ものプロトタイプのA/Bテストを繰り返した末、完成に至りました。コントロール・セクションは2ヴォリューム＆プッシュ/プル・トーン・コントロールとなり、コイルタップによる太く艶やかなシングルコイル・サウンドも本モデルの大きな魅力のひとつです。

The specs that have been carefully considered from all perspectives have been condensed into this one guitar, so it is truly the ideal guitar for me." - David Grissom
The DGT (David Grissom Trem) is the culmination of over 20 years of collaboration between Paul Reed Smith and David Grissom. This model is based on the McCarty, but with the original neck shape and slightly higher frets, and is equipped with specially tuned pickups. The DGT humbucker pickups that produce this vintage sound were the result of Paul and David's extensive hours of A/B testing of more than 40 sets of prototypes. The control section has two volume and push/pull tone controls, and the fat, glossy single-coil sound that can be achieved by coil tapping is one of the main attractions of this model.
The two guitarists are experts in vintage guitars, and we hope you will try the vintage sound that they have created for the modern age.
