The PRS Standard is a model based on the all-mahogany guitars crafted by Paul Reed Smith during his pre-factory era. One of this model’s defining features is its tone, characterized by a warm midrange that stands out thanks to the all-mahogany construction. Furthermore, the ultra-thin satin lacquer finish lends it a beauty that highlights its solid, no-nonsense character.

Furthermore, the PRS Standard 24 incorporates many of PRS’s classic specifications, including a 25-inch scale, 24 frets, a rosewood fingerboard with a 10-inch radius, a Pattern Thin neck shape, the PRS Original Tremolo, and Phase III tuners.
In terms of electronics, in addition to volume and tone controls and a 5-way blade switch, the guitar is equipped with PRS’s newly developed DMO treble and bass pickups. The DMO (Dynamic, Musical, Open) pickups combine vocal-like, richly colored, expansive sound characteristics with a transparent, modern tone across a wide frequency range from the low to the high end.

Designed by Paul Reed Smith and the PRS New Product Engineering Team, these pickups embody all the know-how cultivated through recent product development—from extensive research into vintage pickups to advancements in sound analysis and tuning technology.

This PRS Standard will prove to be a reliable companion for musicians, regardless of their playing environment.

While there is some discoloration on parts and rust on the screws, the instrument is in relatively good condition with minimal signs of use. The neck, frets, truss rod, and all other components essential to playability are in perfect working order.
