Designed based on ergonomics to achieve perfect body balance and exceptional playability whether standing or sitting, the Ibanez “EHB” series is an innovative line of headless basses.
This high-end 5-string multi-scale (fundfret) model combines a poplar burl top with exotic grain patterns and an African mahogany body.

The body features internal chambering, which reduces weight while delivering a rich, hollow resonance. The back of the horn on the high-string side is boldly scooped, ensuring smooth access to the higher frets.
The neck features a 9-piece Panga Panga/walnut construction known for its high rigidity, with a built-in graphite reinforcement rod. Equipped with highly wear-resistant stainless steel frets and glow-in-the-dark side position marks, it offers exceptional playability thanks to its slim, smooth neck profile.

The electronics feature two “Nordstrand Big Split Custom” pickups. They deliver both a thick, sweet low end and a well-defined, punchy tone, making them suitable for a wide range of playing styles, from walking bass to percussive slapping.
The preamp features a “Vari-Mid 3-Band EQ” that allows for stepless adjustment of the midrange focus frequency. An EQ bypass switch (with the Treble knob functioning as a master tone control when bypassed) enables instant switching between versatile, detailed sound shaping and pure passive tone.
This guitar is packed with practical hardware, including the MR5HS monorail bridge with an independent string-by-string design, Schaller S-Locks strap pins, and a Neutrik locking jack to prevent accidental disconnection.
