AZ-exclusive S-TECH WOOD Roasted Maple 1-piece neck & fingerboard with Oval C shape
This original neck shape was developed after measuring and analyzing the neck grips of dozens of guitar models, both from our own company and others.
The neck features a "Comfort Grip" design, with a smooth taper from the joint between the fingerboard and neck down to the fingerboard edge, and rounded fingerboard edges.
This shape is precisely and reliably reproduced through ball milling.
We use maple wood treated with "Estec," a nitrogen heat treatment technology.
Estec-treated wood is characterized by dimensional stability, resistance to warping, water resistance, and resistance to temperature changes, and the technology is patented in Japan.

Super All Access Neck Joint
The "Super All Access" neck joint achieves superior playability by featuring an 8mm stepped cutout from the back of the body and a spherical finish at the neck joint.
The cutaway on the bass string side is designed to be shallow, and by maximizing the contact area between the body and the neck, it achieves both excellent sustain and resonance while maintaining high playability.

Hyperion Pickups Co-Developed with Seymour Duncan
We acquired over dozens of different pickups and measured the frequency characteristics of all of them.
These AZ-exclusive pickups were born from a collaboration with Seymour Duncan, who identified the specifications and sound profile best suited for AZ from among them.
These custom pickups are designed to keep the output slightly restrained so that the clarity of the original sound remains even when distorted, with a focus on picking response and reproducibility.
All pickups feature Alnico-5 magnets.

dyna-MIX 10 switching system w/Alter switch
With a single flip of the mini-switch, you can freely switch between humbucker and single-coil modes, offering 10 different sound variations.

Ibanez T1802 Tremolo Bridge (manufactured by Gotoh) with titanium saddles
This bridge is a reimagined version of the GOTOH 510 bridge—widely regarded by many players and guitar brands as the definitive tremolo bridge—developed through a collaboration between Ibanez and GOTOH.
Featuring a hard-machined titanium saddle and a machined steel inertia block that deliver both quick attack and a solid, fat sound, it is also characterized by its extended high-end.

Gotoh Magnum Lock machine heads with H.A.P. (Height Adjustable Post) function
Features Gotoh Magnum Lock machine heads, renowned for their tuning stability.
Equipped with the H.A.P. (Height Adjustable Post) mechanism, the post height can be adjusted to achieve the appropriate tension for each string.

The spring-muting rubber
A rubber spring mute is installed to suppress the "resonance" of the springs that often occurs on tremolo-bridge-type guitars.
