An all-solid folk-style guitar! ARE-treated top, mahogany sides and back!

Born from Yamaha’s electro-acoustic series—developed through feedback from numerous guitarists and technicians to deliver overwhelming live performance and superior playability—this practical, all-solid model is now available!

The body shape features a "fork cutaway" style with a contoured waist for a comfortable, secure grip. In addition to the cutaway, which enables smooth fingering in the upper registers, the model features meticulously chamfered fretboard edges and a neck taper that maintains a comfortable grip even in the higher positions—all designed to deliver a natural, stress-free playing experience. The transition from electric or steel-string acoustic guitars is exceptionally smooth, and this model delivers high potential in every situation—from live performances and recording to daily practice.

The wood construction features a luxurious all-solid design, with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides that produce a warm, rich midrange. The top is treated with Yamaha’s proprietary “A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement)” process, achieving a deep, rich body resonance that sounds like a vintage guitar that has been played and aged for years, even though it is brand new.Furthermore, utilizing proprietary acoustic analysis technology, the top features newly designed scalloped bracing, while the back incorporates a new bracing system specifically engineered to match the cutaway body’s structure. This design delivers a rich volume that rivals that of a full-body guitar, along with powerful resonance in the low-midrange, despite the cutaway body.

The electronics feature the newly developed "SRT2 (Studio Response Technology)" system (System71), which recreates the airy ambience of a high-quality studio recording made by a top-tier sound engineer. Players can intuitively shape their sound by blending the dynamic, focused tone of the individual-string piezo pickups with the airy SRT2 sound according to their preferences.Furthermore, players can choose between two different microphone types to suit their playing style or the song, ensuring the optimal acoustic sound is produced in any situation.

In terms of aesthetics, the design deliberately avoids flashy embellishments. Instead, it uses luxurious woods for the body binding and soundhole rosette, creating an organic, high-quality premium feel that conveys the warmth of the wood. The pickguard features a striking design inspired by the legendary "N1000" model, which enjoyed immense popularity among top artists in the 1970s, resulting in a dignified appearance that beautifully blends tradition and modernity.
