We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 1994 Fender Custom Shop Custom 1962 Stratocaster!
This is one of the earliest Fender Custom Shop Stratocasters, as FenderCS was founded in 1987.

The neck pocket and body are signed by Art Esparza, who was also a master builder for Fender Custom Shop.

The body cavity is marked AE979B and conductive paint has been applied, which is believed to be an original specification as there are other pieces from the same period with the same paint applied.

The body is a burgundy mist with a matching head that has been tarnished, and it has an alder body, maple neck, and slab rose fingerboard, which are the specifications of the first half of 1962.
The neck date is 03-01-94.

The neck shape is a slightly thinner C-shape as in the early 60s.

The PUs are believed to be original with three black bobbin single coil PUs.

There are some weather checks, paint damage, sticker marks on the back of the body, and other minor scratches and dings, but considering that it has been manufactured for about 30 years, it is in good condition.

The sound and looks are both atmospheric!

1994年製フェンダーカスタムショップ カスタム1962ストラトキャスターが入荷いたしました！
FenderCSが1987年に設立されたため比較的初期に制作された一本でございます。

そして当個体にはネックポケット、ボディにフェンダーカスタムショップのマスタービルダーとしても活躍したアート・エスパーザのサインが入っており仕上がりもよく貴重な一本となっております。

ボディキャビティにAE979Bとあり導電塗料が塗られておりますが同時期の個体で同じように塗られている個体がありオリジナルの仕様と思われます。

ボディはかなり色焼けの進んだマッチングヘッドのバーガンディーミストで、アルダーボディ、メイプルネック、スラブローズ指板と1962前半の仕様となっております。
ネックデイトは03-01-94です。

ネックシェイプは60年代前半のようなやや薄めなCシェイプです。

PUはブラックボビンのシングルコイルPUが3基搭載されておりオリジナルと思われます。

ウェザーチェック、塗装の傷み、ボディバックにステッカー跡、その他細かな傷、打痕等ございますが製造より約30年経過していることを考えると良いコンディションを保っております。
