The dobro is an essential part of American roots music!

The resonator guitar is essential for earthy American roots music. The resonator is equipped with a slide technique to increase the volume. Originally a Hawaiian instrument played lying on the lap, Spanish-style guitars soon appeared and were used in a wide variety of fields, including blues. The dobro has become synonymous with the resonator guitar. The Dobro is a low-priced Asian-made version of the recent Epiphone product lineup. It has a simple design with a satin finish, but the sound is authentic. It has a round neck for the common guitar playing style (Spanish style), which is perfect for blues.
There is a "2ND" stamp on the back of the headstock, indicating a second-class guitar. The back of the body is dotted with what appears to be glue residue, which may be the reason for the "2ND" designation. There are only a few minor dents, light scratches, and dulling of the plating on metal parts, but the damage is minor.
The neck is in proper condition, and the truss rod has been checked to 60 degrees left and right. There is almost no fret wear, and the string height at the 12th fret is just over 3mm on both the 6th and 1st strings, which is perfect for slide playing. The saddle is also high enough to allow room to lower the string height for playing with pressed strings.
It comes with a hard case for an Epiphone Masterbuilt Century.
The wood-body resonator guitar has a sweet tone that is unique to this guitar. The fat, sustain resonance is truly that of a resonator guitar. This guitar is recommended not only for American roots music fans, but also for those who are looking for something different.
