USED Fender Custom Shop / 1957 Stratocaster Heavy Relic Daphne Blue [03]

We’ve just received a used 2020 1957 Stratocaster Heavy Relic!
Featuring a 2-piece alder body and a 1-piece quarter-sawn maple neck, this guitar embodies the classic wood materials of a 1957 Stratocaster. It features narrow-tall (6105) frets and a 9.5-inch radius fingerboard for excellent playability, along with a “57 STYLE SOFT V” neck profile that offers just the right amount of grip.

It’s equipped with hand-wound “50’S START” pickups, delivering a rugged, powerful sound characteristic of the ’50s while offering the excellent responsiveness unique to hand-wound pickups.
The “MOD WIRING 1” control system is used, providing a practical setup where the tone control affects the bridge pickup as well.

Due to its heavy relic finish, the details of any later-added scratches are unclear; however, there is no significant damage, and the guitar is in relatively good condition.
Additionally, there is a crack in the screw hole on the horn side of the pickguard, along with signs of repair work.

The neck is in excellent condition, and there is virtually no fret wear.
With its vibrant Daphne Blue finish and the perfect balance between its rugged, heavily reliced appearance and its sound, this is a truly wonderful instrument!
