The ES-3355 was first produced in 1958 as the top model of semi-acoustic guitars such as the ES-335, and has more luxurious features such as split diamond inlays, multiple binding, stereo output, and gold parts.

A few years ago, GibsonCustom released Chuck berry's signature ES-355, which was based on Chuck berry's beloved 1978 ES-355, but this time, we are pleased to present a good condition ES-355TD that was manufactured in 1979, a very similar year. ES-355TD is now in stock!

The wood materials of this guitar are 3-piece maple neck with volute, ebony fingerboard, and maple body, as it was made in this period.

Two "engraved numbered PAF" PUs with 1979 date are installed.

The PUs have low resistance and produce a vintage sound with a withered atmosphere.
Even when the gain is turned up, the sound is not easily destroyed, and each note can be heard clearly with a good sense of separation, making it ideal for rock 'n' roll and blues!

The original Gibson TP-50 was probably equipped with a Maestro Vibe Roller, and there are some holes around the end pins that have been filled in.
Currently, the guitar has been replaced with a gold Gibson TP-6, which gives the impression of matching the guitar's atmosphere.
The bridge is an original Nashville bridge made in Germany.

The pots are covered and the date is not readable, but the rear tone has been replaced as there is no cover on the rear tone only.
The toggle switch and switch knobs have been replaced, and the four control knobs have probably been replaced with different ones from an older model.

Unfortunately, the pickguard is broken into pieces and cannot be installed.

There is a vertical line of cracks next to the PU where the pickguard is usually installed, and the paint is peeling on a part of the body back.
There are also some scratches, dents, scratches on metal parts, and some tarnishing, but considering the age of the instrument, it is in good condition.

It is very easy to play and has a good sound. There are some parts that have been replaced, but the overall condition is good and recommended for collection.

ES-355s of this year do not often appear on the market, so if you are looking for one, please take this opportunity to consider it!

ES-335等のセミアコの最上位モデルとして1958年に生産が開始され、スプリット・ダイヤモンド・インレイ、マルチプル・バインディング、ステレオアウトプット、ゴールドパーツなどより豪華な特徴を持つES-355。

数年前GibsonCustomよりChuck berryシグネイチャーのES-355が発売され、そちらはChuck berryが長らく愛用した1978年製のES-355を元に制作されましたが、今回はそれにかなり近い年式の1979年に製造されたコンディションの良いES-355TDが入荷致しました！！

この年代らしくボリュート付きの3ピースメイプルネック、エボニー指板、メイプルボディといったウッドマテリアル。

PUには1979のデイト入の「刻印ナンバードPAF」を2機搭載。

抵抗値が低く、枯れた雰囲気のヴィンテージサウンドをアウトプット。
ゲインを上げても音が潰れにくく、1音1音はっきりと聞こえる分離感の良い音でロックンロールやブルースに最適なサウンドです！

おそらくオリジナルではマエストロ・ヴァイブローラー等が搭載されていたと思われエンドピン周りに穴埋め後がございます。
現在はゴールドのGibson TP-6に交換されており雰囲気もマッチしている印象です。
ブリッジはドイツ製のナッシュビルブリッジでオリジナルです。

Potはカバーが付いておりデイトが読み取れませんが、リアトーンのみカバーがないことよりリアトーンは交換されていると思われます。
トグルスイッチ、スイッチノブが交換されており、コントロールノブ4つも古い年式の別のものへ交換されていると思われます。

残念ながらピックガードがバラバラに割れてしまっており取り付けができない状態です。

PU横の通常ピックガードが取り付けられている位置に縦線上のクラックがありボディバックの一部分に塗装剥がれがございます。
その他多少の傷、打痕金属パーツの傷、くすみ等ございますが年式を考慮しますと良いコンディションを保っております。

非常に弾きやすくサウンドも良い一本で、多少のパーツ交換はございますが全体的にコンディションが良くコレクションにもオススメです。

この年式のES-355はあまり出回ることも多くないためお探しだった方は是非この機会にご検討くださいませ！！
