A popular model that helped propel the fork scene!"

The top brace is 5/16" on the D-28, while the D-35 is 1/4". The D-35 is a model that was designed to accompany the songs of the folk song era.

This particular model was made in 1979 with a square rod, painted pickguard, and Schaller pegs. The pickguard is easy to peel off, and many of them have been replaced, but this one has the original one. There are some warped edges near the neck that are floating, but at this time there are no signs that the entire pickguard is about to come off.
The guitar has been repaired at a partner repair shop for Martin cracks, neck angle correction, refretting, fingerboard correction, saddle replacement, nut raising adjustment, and bridge plate repair (a veneer has been applied to prevent the strings from biting into the bridge). The neck is in fair condition.
There are some minor dents, scratches and scuffs on the paint film, cloudy paint film, scratches on the satin paint on the back of the neck, and tarnish on the metal parts. There is a Kawase Instruments guarantee sticker on the back of the headstock.
Both playability and sound are perfect. The sound is cohesive, but depending on how you play it, you can enjoy the light sound of a D-35 or a powerful sound comparable to a D-28.
The original hard case (black) is included. There are scratches, stains, and rust on metal parts, but there are no missing emblems or distortions.
Recommended for those who are looking for the sound of the 70's.
