Speaking of SAITO, the first thing that strikes you is its unique looks.
The shape of the head is particularly eye-catching. It is designed to reach a straight line from the nut to the string post. This reduces stress on the strings and head.
Other features of the SAITO brand include a body top designed to form a gentle arc using an NC router, and a fingerboard designed to maintain its strength against twisting and warping.

The sound is the most important part of the SAITO brand, and this is where the character of the SAITO brand is most apparent.
Pickups are "SAYTONE" made by SAITO. These pickups are all hand-wound, and their sound is extremely pure and fresh, faithfully expressing the nuances demanded by the player down to the smallest detail.
The controls are simple: volume, balancer, and tone. However, the range of tones is ample. From a fat and warm traditional sound to a crisp and modern sound, the performance will exceed the player's expectations.

This bass may be one of the perfected forms of "stress-free playing. Please give it a try!

SAITOと言えば、まず印象的なのはその個性的なルックスではないでしょうか。
特に目を引くのがヘッドの形状。一般的なものとは一線を画すデザインですが、ナット部からストリングポストまで一直線に到達するよう設計されています。これにより弦やヘッドにかかるストレスをの低減を実現しています。
その他にもNCルーターを使用し緩やかな弧を描くように設計されたボディトップ、ねじれや反りに対する強度を損なわないよう設計された指板など、楽器という「道具」としてのこだわりが集約されているのが「SAITO」というブランドの特色の一つです。

そして肝心のサウンドですが、ここがSAITOというブランドのキャラクターが最も現れた部分でしょう。
ピックアップはSAITO製の「SAYTONE」。こちらは全て手巻きで製作されたピックアップであり、そのサウンドは極めて純粋で瑞々しく、プレイヤーの要求するニュアンスを細部まで忠実に表現してくれます。
コントロールはボリューム、バランサー、トーンというシンプルな構成。しかし音色の幅は十分。太く温かいトラディショナルなサウンドからキレの良いパキッとしたモダンなサウンドまで、プレイヤーの期待以上のパフォーマンスを提供してくれることでしょう。
