This wind controller allows you to play MIDI sound sources as if you were playing a wind instrument. The know-how cultivated in wind instrument production has been incorporated into this model, and an easy-to-understand interface that feels like a recorder has been realized. It can be used in a wide range of situations, from practice and stage performances to computer music.

Transmits a wide variety of information to external sound sources
The WX5 can transmit performance information such as pitch, volume, and tone changes to an external MIDI sound source. Two types of sensors are built in: a wind sensor that detects the pressure of the breath, and a lip sensor that detects the pressure applied to the reed. The volume and tone naturally change with the strength of the breath, and the subtle pitch can be controlled by the strength of the reed bite. The sound range covers a vast range of approximately 7 octaves.
