USED OVATION / Super Adamas 1587-9 [03]

We have a used 1990 Ovation Super Adamas 1587-9 in stock.
This is one of the most popular models in Ovation's high-end series.

The top is made of carbon fiber, and the sound is a unique Ovation sound that combines rise and richness.
It has a round bowl back with a deep bowl by Lilacord and a cutaway design that makes it easy to play the high frets.
Beige-brown burst coloring.

The position marks are designed in harmony with the fingerboard and neck wood.
The beautiful carvings on the bridge and head add to the overall atmosphere, giving it the presence of a work of art.

The USA-made Ovation is clearly different from the current Asian-made Ovation, with a good balance from bass to treble, and there must be many people who say, "I'm looking for a USA-made Ovation.
The sound of the instrument itself, which can only be experienced with a USA-made Ovation, can be experienced.

The preamp is an OP-24, but the 3-band EQ knob is missing from the root, so the EQ cannot be operated.
The truss rod has about 60 degrees remaining.
The bulge under the bridge on the top board is very slight and does not affect the playing.
The string height is about 2.5mm at the 12th fret of the 6th string and about 2.1mm at the 12th fret of the 1st string, which is good for playability.
Two genuine string height adjustment shims and three non-genuine shims made of plastic plates are used together. One of the plastic plates is inserted only on the bass string side.
The fingerboard shows some discoloration from use. There are what looks like the marks of six strings, especially on the low frets.
The metal parts show tarnishing and dulling of the plating due to age, but this does not affect the playing.
