For customers residing in Japan
We are pleased to announce the arrival of a Duo-Sonic made in 1964!

The Student model was developed to promote Fender guitars at a price range affordable even for students. The Duo-Sonic was a simple junior-sized model with a smaller body shape and shorter scale, and was developed at the same time as the Musicmaster from 1956.

This time, we have a 21F model with a narrow A-neck (about 38mm nut width).

The body has been refinished, and the appearance is clean considering the age of the instrument.
The body has been refinished and is in good condition considering the age of the instrument.

The paint is a little thicker than the original paint, probably because the refinishing was done over the original paint, and there are some ridges on the neck joint and body end.
The neck joint is slightly curved and the neck plate is curved accordingly.
* There is also some uneven paint (bumps) on the body.

The neck is slightly twisted, but the frets have been adjusted and there is no problem in playing.
Both the nut and frets are in their original condition, and there is about 50-60% fret life remaining.

The neck has the original finish, and the back of the neck has lost its luster due to age.
There are some scratches, dents, and paint chips scattered throughout, and the tip and sides of the head are scratched.

One of the 5-string saddle's screw has been replaced, but the rest of the parts are original. * Some wiring material has been modified.
Unfortunately, the original case and accessories are missing, but considering the refinishing, it is in good condition.

The nut width is about 38mm, but the neck grip is moderately thick, which allows for a light touch as a result of the short scale.

The sound has a sweet tone with a midrange characteristic of mahogany, which is a gap from the appearance in a good sense.
In the mixed position, both pickups are wired in series to produce a bouncy sound. The neck and bridge positions can also be used to "change the flavor" of the sound with a tone and pressure that cannot be experienced in the neck and bridge positions.

Guitars of this vintage are becoming harder to find every year.
It is just the right size for playing at home and looks great as a collectible, so please consider this as an opportunity.

* Due to the nature of this product, we will not be able to offer this item at other Ishibashi Gakki stores. Please understand this beforehand.
Please contact the Ochanomizu Main Store for more information.
