Fender's short scale bass, "Musicmaster Bass" was released in 1970.
We are pleased to announce that we now have in stock a 1978 version of the same model.

Like the Mustang Bass released in the mid-1960s, this bass has the same 30" x 19 frets, but it is equipped with six pole-piece guitar pickups.
This model originally had a high-cut condenser in addition to the normal tone control, but both pots have been replaced on this model, and it is believed that they were removed at that time.

The serial number, pickup date, and the neck date are all faded, but we have determined that this guitar was made in 1978.
There are dents, buckle scratches, and sticker marks on the body, and the bridge has been drilled.

The truss rod and neck condition are in good condition.

It has been refretted and the nut has been replaced.

1970年に発表されたFenderのショートスケールベース、「Musicmaster Bass」
同モデルの1978年製が入荷いたしました。

1960年代半ばに先んじて発売されたMustang Bassと同じく30インチ・19フレットの仕様ではございますが、6つのポールピースを備えたギター用のピックアップが搭載されている特徴的なモデルとなっております。
こちらは本来、通常のトーンコントロール加えてハイカット用のコンデンサが搭載されておりますが、本機はポットがいずれも交換されており、その際に外されているものと思われます。

シリアルならびにピックアップデイト、かすれている箇所がございますがネックデイトより1978年製と判断いたしました。
ボディに打痕・バックル傷・ステッカー跡、ブリッジに穴開け加工行った跡が確認できます。

トラスロッドおよびネックコンディションは現状大きな問題はございません。

また、リフレットされておりナットが交換されております。
