Jason Smith is the son of Dan Smith, who was the marketing director of Fender and is considered to be one of the people who led Fender to success after the company suffered from poor sales in the 80's. Jason Smith has seen many Fender products since he was a child. Jason Smith is the son of Dan Smith, who was one of the first to lead Fender from the beginning of his childhood.
In 1995, he joined Fender like his father and studied under the legendary master builder John English.
In 2006, he was promoted to the position of master builder, and he is still one of the most popular master builders, creating many models for artists with his excellent technique and unique sense of style.
We are pleased to announce that the 2019 Fender Custom Shop/Master Built Series Floyd Stratocaster NOS by Jason Smith is now in stock!

This special body has a 2-piece ash body with a 4A grade quilted maple top for outstanding visual impact.
The neck is made of quarter-sawn maple and the fingerboard is made of 9.5" high quality "AAA" rosewood. Twenty-two SANKO 6105 frets (Narrow Tall size) are used on the fretboard.
The neck shape is "10/56 "V" shape, which has a comfortable grip in your hand.
This model is equipped with a Floyd Rose, Schaller pegs, and a reverse large head, etc., and has the look and specs that only Jason Smith, who worked on the signature model of TUBE's Michiya Haruhata, could produce.
The joint plate has a special plate engraved with his signature.

The body color is Ebony transparent color, which gives a cool impression and brings out the beautiful grain of the quilted maple on the top, creating a cool and distinguished look!

As with the Michiya Haruhata signature model, the front pickup is a DIMARZIO AIR NORTON ZEBRA, the center is a Hand Wound STRAT TEX SPCL, and the rear is a DIMARZIO FRED ZEBRA. In addition, the center pickup is equipped with Fender's pickup craftsman
The center pickup, "Hand Wound STRAT TEX SPCL" is hand wound by Josefina Campos, who has worked on many artist models as a pickup craftsman for Fender.
The clear and delicate sound of the DIMARZIO pickups with a sense of power and the Texas Special HSH configuration that delivers a solid output from wide to low frequencies give this guitar a unique sound that can only be achieved with this guitar.
Strat Vintage Mod Wiring #2" is used for the controls, and the bridge PU is also modern wired for tone. (Tone 1: Neck, Middle Tone 2: Bridge)

The condition of the instrument has some scratches and scuffs on the end of the body, and some of the het logo is peeling off, but it has been kept in a very clean condition.
