National was the first manufacturer to introduce the resonator (risophonic) guitar, which allows for greater volume with the slide technique. National, along with John Dopyera and his brother Dobro, who became independent from National, became the leading brand of resonator guitars.
The Estralita Deluxe is not in the current lineup and features a wood body, slotted headstock with pearloid veneer, single and cookie cones. The neck is round. There were some variations in body material, but this particular model is made of koa. It is equipped with an optional hot plate (resonator cover with pickups, volume and tone controls, and output jacks), which can be connected to an electric guitar amp.

There are a few faint belt buckle scratches on the back, but they are not noticeable unless you hold the instrument in your hand and stare at it. There are almost no dents or scratches, but partial burnishing of the satin paint and tarnishing of metal parts can be seen. There are some minor cracks on the surface of the paint film along the conduit, a slight bump on the binding and body joint, and some cracks on the surface of the paint film, which can be overlooked unless you hold the instrument in your hand and stare at it.
The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod has been confirmed to operate at 60 degrees left and right. The string height is suitable for slide playing (about 3.5mm on the 6th string side and 3.0mm on the 1st string side at the 12th fret). There is almost no fret wear. Both playability and sound are perfect.
The pickups included are great for live players, but it also sounds loud and powerful live. It has the "inertia" typical of National's single cone models, and looks that make it a joy to own. This guitar is recommended not only for slide crazies, but also for those who are looking for a guitar different from others.
