USED GIBSON / Southern Jumbo Triburst [03]

A used 2012 Southern Jumbo is now in stock.
The Southern Jumbo, a higher-end model of the J-45, was created in 1943 and, along with the J-45, is a representative model of the round-shouldered acoustic guitar.
It has a crown inlay on the head, a spruce top with mahogany sides and back, a mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and double parallelogram fingerboard inlay.
There is no serial number stamped on the back of the head, but printed on the neck block inside the body.

The pickguard has been removed and there are pickguard marks on the area. On the back side, a broken screw is buried and a strap pin is attached to that side.
The string height at the 12th fret of the 6th string is approximately 2.5mm, which is the correct string height. The saddle is a cow bone and appears to have been replaced.
The neck is slightly twisted when viewed closely, but this does not affect the sound or playability of the instrument.
There are some signs of use, such as the removed pickguard marks and strap pins, but there are no noticeable scratches, and the powerful Gibson-like sound makes this a guitar that can be used in the future.
