USED FENDER / 1974 Stratocaster Black [03]

The Stratocaster has been in production since 1954 and has been loved by many players for many years.

The Stratocaster we have just received is a 1974 model with specifications different from those of the 50s and 60s, including a large head, a bullet nut that allows rod adjustment from the head, and a three-point neck joint.

The color is black, the body seems to be Alder, and it weighs 3.39kg.

The neck date is faded and almost illegible, but the number on the right end looks like a 4, so it seems to be a '74 neck.

The pots are all made in '74 from the date, but there are signs of solder modification.
The selector is 3-way like the original.

The frets, nut, tremolo spring, selector knob, and strap pins have been replaced, and the arm and back panel are missing.
The neck and the entire body have been over-lacquered.

The body color is black, but there is a sunburst color visible through the peeling paint.
