A used 2005 YAMAHA CPX-15EA is now in stock.
This is the East Version model of the Compass series made in Japan. As a world-class electric acoustic guitar, the Compass Series was designed based on the concept of a "compass" indicating East, West, North, and South, with designs inspired by images from around the world, and sound creation and material selection to match those materials.
This CPX-15EA is a guitar based on the concept of "EAST.
The body sides and back are made of quilted mahogany, with a unique grain that is impressive, beautiful, and eye-catching.
The soundhole and position markings are decorated with ancient Egyptian motifs, which blend perfectly with the overall atmosphere, creating an interesting and captivating expression.
The sound has a dense, extended and smooth texture. It is a sound that goes well with solo guitar and lead playing.
Although it is a cutaway eleaco, it also sounds great live, and is of excellent quality.
It is equipped with A.R.T 3-way pickup system and SYSTEM-59 for fine sound making.

There are many dents, scratches, and other external damage commensurate with its age, and the left side of the bottom of the top has some damage with peeling paint. The body and case smell of cigarettes.
The truss rod has less than half a turn left on the tightening side. The saddle has been shaved low and shims have been placed under the saddle. The string height is about 2.6mm at the 12th fret of the 6th string.
An external hard case is included.
