USED Sadowsky NYC / 40th Anniversary Custom Bass 5-string 24-fret Mastergrade Buckeye Burl 59 Burst [03]

A used 5-24 featuring beautiful back-eye burl on the top has just arrived!!

Sadowsky is the ultimate active JB-style bass.
This authentic NYC-made 5-string bass has arrived in used condition.

It features a 5-string, 24-fret configuration with a soapbar pickup—the classic "5-24" style.
The pickup position, offset toward the rear, produces a unique low-end and punchy sound.

The top features beautiful Mastergrade burl.
Combined with the 59 Burst gradient, it gives a very cool impression.
The back is chambered alder, and the fingerboard is ebony.

Another highlight is the special logo commemorating the Sadowsky 40th anniversary on the back of the headstock.
Since it’s a 40th Anniversary model, it’s believed to have been manufactured around 2020.

It weighs 3.78 kg.
Although there are some minor dents near the tip of the headstock and the body end, the overall appearance is well-preserved.
Although there are slight indentations on the frets, they do not affect the instrument’s playability.
There are no issues with playability, such as the truss rod.

Plug it into an amp, and you’ll hear that unmistakable sound.
NYC guitars have become quite difficult to find in Japan these days.
