JAMES TYLER started with the "Studio Elite" series of guitars designed to support the diverse music scene of the 80's, followed by the rise of the "Classic Style" in the 90's, and then the "Retro Series", "HD Series", and "Mongoose Series" in the 2000's, responding to the current music scene that can be called a great mix of music. The "Retro Series," "HD Series," "Mongoose Series," and many other models have been introduced to the world. The Studio Elite HD from JAMES TYLER, the pinnacle of component guitars, is now in stock!

Body, Neck, Fingerboard
The body is made of carefully selected swamp ash. The body is made of carefully selected swamp ash, which produces a fat, glossy, and clear sound that is unique to Tyler. The neck and fingerboard are made of quarter-sawn maple.

Extra Thin '59" neck shape is used. The satin finish is smooth and silky, and the thin grip makes it a perfect match for any playing style.

Hardware part
The bridge is a Gotoh "G2TS" with a pressed saddle with Tyler's engraving on the base plate, which is trusted by many high-end brands. 2-point support ensures smooth operation and the pressed saddle provides a sense of overtones.

The pegs are Hipshot locking type for stable tuning and quick string changes.

Pickups
The pickups are equipped with "JTS5500, JTS5500, and SUPERCHARGED STUDEBAKER" from the neck position.

The JTS5500 is a single coil pickup specially designed for S/S/H and uses the same magnet and wire as the original pickup set 5250, which was developed based on James Tyler's original idea, while supporting a 500k volume pot and producing a well-balanced S/S/H sound. The pickups are designed to deliver a well-balanced S/S/H sound.

The SUPERCHARGED STUDEBAKER has a smooth, bouncy attack, covering a snarling midrange and tight lows. It has a good balance from low to high when overdriven, and can be easily expressed from overdrive to clean sound by controlling the guitar's volume, giving it a very musical and glossy tone. It has a creamy sound with more mid than the Steudebaker. It has a slight compression feel.

Controls
Controls are simple and acceptable for many players, with a master volume, 5-way selector, master tone, and mid boost.
Although this model has a very simple structure in terms of controls, there are no usable or unusable notes in the 5-way switch, and the ability to produce a superb sound in all positions is a strength of the James Tyler guitars.

JAMES TYLER guitars are made from carefully selected materials and are made with great care, and only a few hundred are made each year worldwide, making them a rare commodity. Although expensive, once you touch one of these guitars, you will forget the time and concentrate on playing. We hope you will experience its sound.

Condition
This guitar is in beautiful condition with little signs of use. Of course, the neck, frets, truss rod, and all other playing-related conditions are in perfect condition.
The neck, frets, truss rod, etc. have all been adjusted and fretted at our repair center upon arrival, so you can use it with confidence.
