Among the many unique models of Gibson acoustic guitars, the Songwriter series stands out for its versatility that allows it to be used in any style or genre of music. This is a 2006 Songwriter Deluxe Cutaway. It features a spruce top, rosewood sides and back, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard and bridge. This is an electric acoustic model with the well-established Fishman Prefix Plus-T preamplifier.

Minor dings and light scratches are faintly visible, some tarnishing to the plating on metal parts, light weather checking at the center seam under the top bridge, and some paint lifting above the top bridge and around the fingerboard. There is a mark (screw hole) where the strap pin was attached to the bottom of the heel of the neck. They have now been moved to the side of the heel. There is no noticeable damage, and considering the age of the guitar, it has generally maintained a good appearance.
The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod has been confirmed to operate at 60 degrees left and right. The frets have been rubbed together and are not dented, and approximately 70% of the height remains. Both playability and sound are perfect.
Although it is a dreadnought style, it does not have too much bass and has a well-balanced sound with just the right amount of compression. As the name "Songwriter" suggests, this guitar is recommended for both professional and amateur guitarists who are involved in music production and live performances.
