For customers residing in Japan
We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 1975 Musicmaster Bass with a short scale and easy handling.

Musicmaster Bass was first released in 1970 and discontinued by the end of 1981.
This model is equipped with the simplified pegs and bushless pegposts that were seen until 1975. However, unlike the early 1970s, the finger rest is placed on the 4th string side, which is a transitional specification.
The neck date is 0700-5041. The standard reading would be "07=Musicmaster Bass model code," "00=maple neck with rosewood fingerboard," "50=made on the 50th anniversary of that year," "4=made in 1974," and "1=Monday," but the record that is considered "07=Musicmaster Bass However, it is difficult to say for sure since there is no record of "07=Musicmaster Bass model code" and we could not confirm the model with the number 07 as the code. However, there is no evidence of neck replacement, and other than the model code, it matches the characteristics of the same age, so we have determined that it is not a component but the original.

The pot date is "137-7429" on the volume side and "137-75××" on the tone side, which is the same age made by CTS, and although the year is different, there is no form of re-soldering, so we believe it is probably original. The pickups have been replaced with what appears to be Aero Instruments, and the original pickups are included, but no date can be confirmed. The wiring material has been replaced and a capacitor has been added, so it is hard to say that the electrical system is highly original.

The sound is characterized by the warmth produced by the moderately swollen low midrange. It seems to evoke the music scene of the time, including the easy handling characteristic of the short scale, so that it fits well with jazz and blues band sounds.

Neck condition is good. The truss rod is fine on the side to loosen. The tightening side also has about a half turn of extra strength left.

The bright red color of this guitar has an atmospheric weather check. This coloring is rarely seen in the market! Please take advantage of this opportunity to purchase!
