The 2020 Gibson Custom Shop 1959 ES-355 VOS Ebony Stopbar is now in stock!

Based on the 1959 ES-355, this guitar features a maple/poplar/maple 3-ply body, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard.
The neck shape is "Authentic '59 Medium C-Shape". The relatively thin neck provides an easy grip.
The long pickguard, Mickey Mouse ears, and other features are reproduced to the 1959 specifications.
Mother-of-pearl block inlays, multi-layer binding, and gold hardware give the ES-355 a high-class look.

The body color is Ebony with VOS finish, giving it a vintage-like appearance.

Two original "Custombucker" pickups are installed.
The sweet and warm tone of the early humbuckers is a perfect match with the sound of a good sounding box.

There are some scratches and scuffs that seem to have been added later.
Overall, the condition is good with no significant scratches.
